Privacy
Policy.
The Container Pool Company, LLC (“we,” “us”) designs, sells, ships and installs shipping container pools. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website, request a quote, text us or become a customer, and what we do with it. The short version: we use your information to design, price and build your pool. We don't sell it.
Effective date: October 12, 2026
What we collect
What you give us
- Contact details: name, email, phone number
- Property details: your project address, photos of your yard, site plans or surveys, HOA documents, and anything you put in your notes
- Project preferences: pool size, placement, features, budget range and timeline
- Messages: texts, emails and call notes between you and our team
- Customer records: if you hire us or buy a pool, your contract, invoices, delivery details and payment records. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we don't store full card numbers.
What we collect automatically
- Device and usage data: browser type, device, pages viewed, links clicked, the page that referred you, and approximate location based on IP address
- Cookies and similar tools (see “Cookies and analytics” below)
What we gather about your property from public sources
To design for your lot, we may look up public records about the address you give us, such as parcel lines, aerial and street imagery, elevation and flood maps, and building footprints.
How we use it
- Respond to your inquiry and prepare estimates, designs and proposals
- Create 3D designs and photo renderings of your pool on your property
- Plan site work, permits, freight, delivery and installation
- Communicate with you about your project by phone, text and email
- Send occasional updates or offers, if you've agreed to receive them (you can opt out anytime)
- Run, secure and improve our website
- Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and enforce our agreements
Who we share it with
We share only what's needed to deliver your project, with:
- Our fabrication partner and project trades: the pool shop, crane and freight companies, electricians, plumbers, engineers, and deck or landscape crews working on your job
- Service providers who run our business: website hosting, forms and CRM, email and texting, payment processing, accounting, and the mapping, imaging and design tools (including AI image tools) we use to create your designs and renderings
- Government offices: permit offices, inspectors and HOAs, when your project requires it
- Legal and safety: when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, customers or the public
- A buyer of our business: if the company is sold or merged, under this same policy
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Photos of finished projects. We will never post photos or renderings of your property publicly without your permission. With your OK, we may show your finished pool in our portfolio and social media, without your name or address.
Text messages
If you text us or give us your number on a form, we'll text you about your inquiry and project. Marketing texts are sent only with your consent, and consent is never a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We don't share or sell mobile numbers or texting consent to third parties for their marketing.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, understand which pages are useful, and measure how people find us. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may not. Our site does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals, but where state law requires it, we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out request.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that don't become projects: about 24 months, then deleted
- Customer and project records: as long as needed for warranty, legal and tax purposes, generally 7 years after the project ends
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and we limit access to people who need it for your project. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information such as Social Security or bank account numbers through our forms or by text.
Your choices and rights
Anyone can ask us to:
- See the personal information we have about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your information, unless we need to keep it for an active project, warranty, or legal or tax reasons
- Get a copy of your information in a portable format
- Stop marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link) or texts (reply STOP)
If you live in Texas or another state with a consumer privacy law (for example California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut or Oregon), you also have these rights under that law, plus the right to opt out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling. We don't do those things today.
How to ask: email admin@containerpoolcompany.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We'll confirm it's really you, usually by matching your email or phone number, then respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying with “Appeal” in the subject line. We'll answer within 60 days. If you're still not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
Our website and services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If the change is significant, we'll also notify customers by email.
